Lucid

 

Lucid have evolved from humble beginnings, a couple of ballads were written in quick succession by Blue and Ollie (the bands founders)!

 

After a successful three track recording at The Lodge Studios - Northampton. Blue’s sister Sunny came on the scene and another spell of song writing began. They now had eight more tracks to add to the existing three!

 

Lucid then secured two other members to make the 'Lucid sound' more achievable in a live situation, Dave Shelton and Nick Potts. Now with a great drummer/percussionist on board and a superb violinist, respectively they are adding all the musical embellishment the band require. They couldn't have timed their arrival any better with the recording just around the corner!

 

Fourteen long hard days in early June were spent in the studio. Lucid came out with eleven well recorded tracks that they were to entitle "Jigsaw Dreams" and with some extraordinary artwork from local artist John Patty the album was complete!

 

At present the band are embarking on a mini tour, gaining some valuable exposure along the way. They have spent time rehearsing some carefully selected covers to compliment their delicately crafted songs!

 

All their material with their breathtaking vocal harmonies demonstrates where they excel as a band!
